Boots Jaffee

My name is Boots Jaffee, and I have been a resident of the Poudre Canyon for over 25 years. A good part of that time was spent working with the Poudre Canyon Fire Protection District. I am a retired person who tries to give as much time as he can to the community. As the climate changes, so do the dangers it presents to our forests. I was on the fireline during the Cameron Peak fire and helped to save many homes, and I would like to continue to help our department to be ready for the next fire as it is sure to come. I am certified in Wildland Firefighting and CPR, and I have degrees in the Administration of Justice and Theology. I am also a well-known blues harmonica player and a long-time fixture in the music scene.
